Video Contest :    Blow Off Steam Earth Day Rant ‘N Rave

Who: You make a short video about Earth Day. Express your true self. Yes, be funny. We like to be entertained.

What: A max three-minute video in .avi format delivered on CD or DVD media. Yes, New Acropolis gets to keep the media and gets to use the video, if it’s good, in promo material, and you get famous. If you really need to see legal documents on this including release forms and all the legalities that go along with it, this contest is not for you, so please go play outside.

When: Deadline to deliver the video is 10 p.m. Eastern time, April 18, 2007.

Where: Deliver your vid-biz to 596 MacLaren Street, Ottawa, ON K1R 5K9

Why: If you win, you get a free course in Comparative Philosophy of East and West. It’s a weekly one-night course lasting approximately three months, worth $240.00.

How: The New Acropolis judges will sit down and watch all the vids delivered, and will award one winner based on artistic merit and how applicable the video is to Earth Day.

The winning video will be announced and screened at the New Acropolis Cultural Centre on Sunday April 22 at 1 p.m.
