Excalibur movie presentation a success!

It was a real pleasure to present Excalibur and share our thoughts and impressions about this epic movie on the myth of King Arthur. We spoke about the beauty of the Quest for the Holy Grail and its meaning to us in our lives as an inspiration to “go beyond the limits of the within” and overcome our fears, self-doubt and limitations. We touched on what unity means as presented in the legend of King Arthur, and how modern society is striving to attain this goal through such organizations as the United Nations.

We also talked about the role of Merlin, the great sorcerer and guide to King Arthur. From the moment Arthur was born, as he grew into the young squire who pulled the great sword Excalibur from the stone, when he faced the many challenges of being king and in his final battle to defeat Mordred and overcome death, he received counsel and inspiration from Merlin.

This inspiration was strongest through Arthur’s dreams, demonstrating the power of dreams and their ability to provide us with vision and hope for the future.
